• Why? So we can assure our guests do not bring in or pick up fleas while they are staying at our facility. 
• Fleas can live on your pet year round. They are very tiny and difficult to see. One flea can lay up to 5,000 eggs in the environment. Flea eggs usually drop off where pets sleep. Flea collars, powders, shampoos and over the counter flea treatments do not adequately control all life stages of fleas. 

• Why? Most internal parasites are shed through feces in the form of eggs, which can only be seen under a microscope and can be found in normal looking feces. To help keep our yard clean and prevent our guests from being exposed we do daily clean up and require all boarding and daycare animals to be screened for parasites.

• Your dog must be temperament tested by a member of our staff before participating in daycare
• Daycare dogs are required to be spayed or neutered
